Marilyn Manson Not A Big Fan Of Lady Gaga...

You ask yourself, aren't Manson and Gaga somewhat the same? Shouldn't he like her? She did admit that she admires him. Who wouldn't? I do! He did though say that he's not really a fan of her music. He revealed this to Digital Spy and said, “I like the general idea of what she’s about. I have a hard time liking her music. It’s not my style of music that I like, and I like a lot of music that is in that vein. I like Kylie Minogue sometimes – I like a lot of unusual stuff … I don’t know – I like Justin Timberlake over Lady Gaga, just musically.”

Maybe he likes Justin Timberlake over her because of his lyrics? Maybe? Although I admit she has crazy and outstanding performances. Manson feels the same way! He doesn't dislike her; he just really isn't fond of her music. He explains by saying, “I get the whole idea of what she’s doing and I appreciate that. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, I think it’s a good thing. At the same time, I don’t try to have a different look every single moment because I think it’s more ephemeral, it becomes less permanent. People like to identify with one single thing. I’m not one to knock her. She’s obviously succeeded in what she’s doing. It’s not exactly the type of thing that I find myself listening to, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like her.”

I bet huge Gaga fans were going crazy and being that obsessed fan. I like both artists. Manson is more my style but I like what Lady Gaga does. She dressed the way she wants and she doesn't care what society thinks. Girl power, she shows it. She is one of a kind. Manson on the other hand is kind of the same way. I find his music more empowering and meaningful then hers. It speaks to me. What do you think about Lady Gaga?
