Dave Lombardo Thanks Fans For Being Loyal After Dismissal Of AustralianTour

In the past few days there has been a lot of drama with Slayer, They have fired Dave Lombardo form their Australian tour and many of their fans are not pleased by that decision. Many of them have been going mad.

We have heard both sides of the story from Dave Lombardo and Kerry King. The fans however seem to be taking Lombardo's side of story and not really agreeing with what King had said. In fact many accused Kerry King of making the wrong decision. I know a few people that are doing the same thing.

The support led to Lombardo posting a thanks to his fans for being supportive and passionate via Facebook.

"I have always known that my fans were awesome! But never has it been more clear to me than in the past two weeks, how passionate, supportive and sincere you really are. Thank you for all your kind responses and I hope to see you all very soon.

Tom Araya on the other hasn't said much about Lombardo's dismissal  He's just said how excited he is about the new drummer, Jon Dette. He is the drummer for Testament and had previously worked for slayer.

I think that Dave Lombardo will continue to be a member of Slayer. It is understandable if he doesn't though. The bands frontman hasn't said much and the guitarist fired Lombardo himself. I just hope that nothinhg happens that will cause him to leave. He's been with Slayer for so long that if he goes, the bands sound will change.
