Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe Released From Czech Prison

Finally! After that long time if being imprisoned in the Czech republic, he was released on Thursday (August 2). He is to board a flight today at 1:00pm Czech time and arrive in New York around noon.

I have been documenting it for the past month. What happened? Blythe was detained by their authorities on June 27 when Lamb of God arrived for a gig they had. Randy arrived innocently to deliver to his fans and then was arrested. Why was he arrested? He was charged with manslaughter! Te first time I read about this I honestly thought this was all crazy! This was due to an incident thy happened in 2010 when a 19 year old fan died from injuries after being tossed off the stage. I always asked myself this, why acknowledge it two years later?

Let's not forget that he posted for $200,000 bail. He was kept longer and that ended up increasing his bail amount to $400,000! It was double than the original amount.

We're all happy now though! Earlier today the representative for the prison and the Prague Municipal Court, confirmed his much waited release.

“I can confirm that (Blythe) was released yesterday afternoon,” said Gabriela Pohlová, a spokeswoman for the prison, on Friday. Court spokeswoman Martina Lhotáková added, “The decision was reached yesterday at the end of a closed session. The only condition of release was the approximately 8 million Czech Koruna bail (approximately $400,000).”

Me myself, did support Blythe throughout this problem. So did other rockers like his band mates, Slash and others. They spoke out for Blythe or tweeted things like "FreeRandyBlythe." But I this truly the end I the problem for Randy? Sorry to say but the answer is no. He is to go back in trial later on in Prague. Just keep visiting and stay tuned because I'm bound to have more posts concerning Randy Blythe.
