Slash Gets A Star, Axl Gets An Insult!

Slash is just on fire this year! It has been a very successful year for him! Rock N' Roll hall of fame for him and now this? Congratulations Slash!

He was awarded his star yesterday (July 10) in front of Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. His wife Perla and his children were also there. Former band mate Steve Adler was also there. Guess what other special guest was there? The one and only Charlie Sheen! He happens to be longtime friends and neighbors. Charlie Sheen, you know what that means. Did he say anything to congratulate Slash? Was he being humorous?

He joked around with the crowd that gathered to see. He said "It’s quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on … This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the ’80s."

Maybe he wasn't joking? I don't know but that got a good laugh out of me. Overall Slash deserved this! He ranked No. 2 on Time magazines guitarists. Right after Jimi Hendrix! Slash has already made history! This man is truly legendary! If you ask me I think he should be every guitarist's inspiration. Maybe not, everyone is different. Anyways are you proud for Slash?
