Green Day Cancels Gig After Billie Joe Armstrong Is Hospitalized

Green Day was to play today (Sept 2) in Bologna, Italy but had to cancel due to Billie Joe being hospitalized. Sorry Italian fans!

No one knows what Billie Joe's illness is but bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool had a few words to say about canceling the show. They made a forty second video apologizing to the fans about the miss and also explaining why it happened.

I just hope Billie Joe gets well! We may not know what's wrong but we can at least hope for the best. If you missed this gig they will be playing at the iHeartRadio music fest in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sept. 21! Hope you get well Billie Joe!
